THE WINDMILLS OF JIM'S MIND
Jim’s mind spins in chaos. Especially when when he visits the tiny Texas town of his birth. He despises the place. Each time he returns to Bois d’ Arc Creek he fantasizes about killing them all for the abuse they inflicted on him.
It’s been 25 years, and some of the old memories have faded. But there is one thing that Jim will never forget. That is the death of his classmate, Christi. The official cause of death was a blood clot to the brain, but everyone in town knows the truth. Open secrets and shared culpability are the glue that binds this small community together.
Today is May 2, 2016, and Jim has just returned to his home in Los Angeles. As with each of his visits to Bois d’ Arc Creek, he left destruction in his wake. The entire town is shocked by the discovery of two brutal murder scenes. The identities of the victims indicate a clear connection to Christi and the events surrounding her death in 1991. It's obvious that the killer thinks 25 years is long enough. He wants people to pay for the role each of them played in Christi’s death.

SHE WALKS ALONE AT NIGHT
Chaaya owns Pullman Literary Agency in New York City. She is a ruthless businesswoman. Her employees despise her. She's sadistic, but she's also fiercely protective. And that is what the people in her life will need when the murders begin.
Each agent at Pullman Literary receives the same manuscript entitled, She Walks Alone at Night. The manuscript is a road map to a bloody murder spree, and the killer’s motivation is ostensibly revenge for the rejection of his novel. But the killer is really just practicing. With each death and dismemberment he learns something psychological and something anatomical. When he confronts his final victim he will have the skills he needs to dispense the justice that he has so patiently planned.
The murders will unearth crimes that are decades old. The employees of the agency will learn that long-time friends are not what they seem. Some Perceived enemies turn out to be victims. Others become heroes. The survivors will be left to question whether monsters are made or born.
